The China line is built from Chinese official records: fiscal publications, procurement notices, PPP project documents and contract disclosures. Names are kept in Chinese alongside English forms, and every record links to the publication it was taken from.

Defined measures of government revenue, expenditure, debt and fiscal capacity, observed by jurisdiction and period.

Procurement processes

Contracting processes from planning to award: buyer, procuring entity, method, category, status, value and tender period.

Contracts

Agreements between a buyer and a supplier, with their value, period, type and status, and the payments and events recorded against them.

Governments and agencies

Public bodies that buy: governments, agencies and other procuring entities, with the jurisdictions they belong to and the records they appear in.

Suppliers

Organisations that sell to the public sector: companies, state-owned enterprises and special-purpose vehicles, with the contracts they hold.
